The end of the week is busy at SHC.  Thursday night is our big volunteer-driven clinic, and we often have a dental clinic on Friday morning.  Once a month we add a Saturday clinic to that mix.  So this week we're holding clinic four days in a row--significant considering the vast majority of our staff is volunteer!

This week I asked someone in the office how she was doing and she answered honestly, "I'm making it."  It reminded me of a passage that has meant a lot to me this year:

"Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The Lord is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak."
(Isaiah 40:28-29)

What great peace and hope we can have with the right source of strength.  It's a hope we want to share with others.
