Volunteer with Us

Join Our Community Health Team

At Samaritan Health Center, we believe everyone deserves the chance to flourish.

Our Community Health Team (CHT) takes health care beyond the SHC clinic walls, meeting neighbors where they are.

Help make health care accessible to our most vulnerable neighbors.

We serve vulnerable populations across Durham — including refugees, immigrants, those experiencing homelessness, justice-involved individuals, and children from vulnerable communities.

Our team provides free health screenings, sports physicals, first aid, and health education at community events, and we partner with local churches and nonprofits to connect people with health care.

Samaritan Health Center is a Christian faith-based free and charitable clinic. We care for people of any faith background but seek to share the love of Christ in all we do. Any CHT volunteer would need to be comfortable working alongside us.
